Our story
Kapray jopehchanbana dein.
The name Kalakr comes from the Urdu word کلاکار — kalakar, meaning artist or craftsman. It's the word we use for the hands behind the print, the screen-printer, the illustrator translating truck-art energy into a graphic tee. Every piece we release starts with that kind of maker.
Kalakr started with a simple idea: the culture we grew up with — Ajrak blocks, Mughal miniature detail, truck-art boldness, and Urdu calligraphy — deserves to live on more than just museum walls. It belongs on the street.
We are a Pakistani heritage streetwear label. We put these motifs on small-batch tees, hoodies, and accessories. Each drop is limited, intentional, and made to be worn — not saved.
We work with printers, illustrators, and makers we know by name, and we only release what we would wear ourselves.
